Unlike ordinary screening machines that separate seeds by size, the de-stoner separates stones and seeds by weight. After the pre-cleaner ( air screen cleaner or air screen cleaner with gravity table ) , The most of the dust , light impurities , big and small impurities have been removed . then left the seeds almost same size . and the stone /sand almost same size .

Given the same volume, the volumes of seeds and stones are different. There are several fans at the bottom of the de-stoner,  which blow strong air upwards when it is working. The de-stoner table have Stainless steel woven mesh on the top , which will let the air go through but stop the seeds drop .  When the air comes , it will blow the seeds up . because the seeds is light , it will be blow to higher position . The stone is heavy , it will stay on the destoner table .

Due to the combined effects of friction and vibration, the stones will be transported to the higher end of the de-stoner . The seeds at high places will automatically flow to the lower end of the destoner because they are in a suspended state.

According to the above working principle, the de-stoner can separate stones, sand and other impurities from seeds very well. However, it is worth noting that impurities such as soil lumps, cement lumps, etc. that are similar in weight to seeds cannot be removed well.
