Our BEIBU company manufactures and sells the DCS-10A, DCS-50A, DCS-100A, and DCS-100S series of electronic quantitative packaging scales.

Many customers in the grain processing industry require these machines. They automatically weigh, bag, and sew according to a set weight. This reduces manual labor and improves packaging speed and weighing accuracy.

Generally speaking, a single scale can pack up to 300 bags per hour. If you purchase a dual-scale model, such as the DCS-100S, the speed can reach 600 bags per hour.

Working Principle of Automatic Packaging Scales

This series of automatic packaging scales is very popular in the market.

So, how do these scales work? Here's a brief explanation for those who are curious.

Working Principle of Automatic Packaging Scales

The DCS series electronic quantitative scales primarily consist of the components shown in the figure. 1. Silo. 2. Valve. 3. Sensor. 4. Weighing bucket. 5. Valve 2. 6. Bag holder.

The valve has three positions: fast, medium, and slow.

The weighing bucket is hoisted by the sensor.

We set a desired packaging weight, for example, 50 kg.

To begin, we place seeds into the silo. Then, the program controls the valve to open. The seeds then fall downward into the weighing bucket. The sensor calculates the seed weight in real time.

During the seed drop, the valve is initially in the fast position. After exceeding 30 kg, it switches to the medium position. When the seeds reach 49 kg, the valve switches to the slow position, and the seeds slowly fall into the weighing bucket. Once the weight reaches 50 kg, the valve quickly closes. At this point, the weighing bucket contains 50 kg of seeds.

At this point, we clamp the bag with the bag holder. The packaging scale automatically opens Valve 2 according to the program settings, pouring the seeds from the loading bucket into the bag. Once this action is complete, the bag holder automatically releases.

This cycle completes the operation of the automatic quantitative packaging scale.
